We have come to realise that the Rise of the Guardians film did not supply quite enough story for any of the characters, so, we are glad to inform all of you Rise of the Guardians fans that there could be a sequel. It is not yet in plannng and we are doubtful as to whether it will go ahead, so we apologise for any confusion.
What? WHAT? WHAT?!
Sadly, it’s a joke…. but I want to believe it’s real *believes*
It’s been confirmed!!!
Imagine having your icon’s personality for a week.
Really, Mako, did you really have to say that.
Did you really have to compare my Asami to a leech.
/vomits all over the screen
Hehe, perfect comeback Bolin. ;) You make him acknowledge it!
I made this because no one ever knows what studio made what film.
Consider this a primer on feature film intellectual property ownership in Hollywood. It’s by no means comprehensive, but it’s got all the major players on there. I limited it mostly to U.S. production houses, so I don’t think I left anyone out.
You might need to download it to see everything.
I really wish everyone knew this stuff so people would stop asking for Shrek products at the Disney Store.
i’m just in shock because
they actually had the gall to erase her fucking existence in that episode
like she wasn’t even mentioned
korra and mako are too busy being the world’s most boring couple to notice anything but at least bOLIN……..
THIS IS WHY I SAY THAT ASAMI DOESN’T HAVE FRIENDS. THIS IS WHY.
NO ONE CARES ABOUT HER. WE WENT A FUCKING HALF HOUR MINUTES WITHOUT EVEN THE MENTION OF HER NAME.
She could pull an Amelia Earhart out of this show and no one would notice
THIS IS WHY I’M MAD ALL THE TIME
[She could pull an Amelia Earhart out of this show and no one would notice]
DID YOU REALLY HAVE TO MENTION THAT?
DON’T YOU REMEMBER WHAT HAPPENS TO EARHART??? ;-;
Korra isn’t turning into Kuruk.
Kuruk didn’t use his Avatar State when he was just bumming around; he just surfed, fell in love, and lived a quiet life. The fact is, the world was at peace at the time and though he may have needed to be a bit more spiritual and acted more like an Avatar and not just a normal Water Tribesmen, he was never abusive of his power.
Korra is abusing her power plain and simple; using it to beat Jinora in a race? I’m not really shocked the spirits are pissed with her. She needs to help fix a world that is in turmoil and is unbalanced more than it has been in a long time, and she’s using her Avatar State for children’s games and cheating.
I’m excited to see Korra finally get the wake up call she needs — it will probably come in a big way, and that makes me anxious for Book 2.
Please don’t get tired of me.
It happens every time. People lose interest in me. They get tired of me. Suddenly, they don’t bother hitting me up anymore. The conversations become shorter. They forget about me and I just become a distant memory. I wonder if it’s my fault sometimes. But then I realize that people never stay in my life. And there’s nothing I can do about it.
“You are always here to me. And I always listen. And I can always see you.”
The above should just about cover the Doctor and River’s relationship. That one sentence should be enough to prove to everyone that there may have been predecessors, but there is only one River Song and she is the Doctor’s wife whether you like it or not… Alex Kingston gives probably the best, if not the greatest performance of any story she’s been in so far. The idea of River being present, but also being absent from the story is a novel one as River has the tendency to steal the show whenever she pops up. This was a River Song at the very end of her timeline. She is a full and well-rounded character and this was a Doctor who was still mourning her death almost three hundred years after the fact. How utterly selfish was it of him to pretend that he couldn’t see or hear her? And at the same time, how utterly human was it to not give in to the pain by confirming her presence? Even in an advisory capacity, River managed to in-avertedly steal every one of her scenes one last time.
So basically - the Doctor never went back to say goodbye to River because she was always there to him. Next to him. She just didn’t know he could see her.
/dies of feels
my increasing lack of interest in mako and bolin bothers me a lot :/
please just let korra and asami interact in canon and leave the boys alone, let them do their own thing, for just awhile? let the brothers have bonding time while KORRA AND ASAMI ALSO HAVE BONDING TIME
things i want so badly from canon that i fear i will never get…
