Season finale rewrite that takes a darker turn. Korra releases and forgives Tarrlok, who then partners up with her and Asami to take down his brother, but a disastrous change of events involving Mako’s defection threatens to ruin everything.

This is based off the writeworld prompt for today “Since When?” and so this story resulted when I should have been paying attention in bio class! Korrlok, as per usual, but this is Korrlok much more platonically than I usually write them, and I’m experimenting with the style of first person present for this piece. It was a new style and different to do, but I think I got the hang of it quickly enough. :3 The title derives from this AMAZING song by 30 Seconds to Mars.

You can blame my synopsising of my novel “Beausant” for this piece. Also “Beausant” keeps screaming Korrlok at me and it’s making me go oh lord haaaaaaaaaaalp me because now I want to write it as fanfiction and my knowledge of Korrlok is influencing the design of the novel and its plot so I hope anything isn’t plaigaristic so oh my word. A missing scene from Korra episode 4, “The Voice in the Night.” I just wanted to see what might have happened conversation-wise after Tarrlok left the dining room after making himself known to Korra. :) Drabble.
Another writeworld prompt Korrlok oneshot! This one’s prompt was “Do You Trust Me” which at first only made me think of Aladdin and I thought of doing something Aladdin-based with Korrlok but the only thing I could think of was my good friend zenaga’s magnificent Korrlok story Southern Winds and its latest chapter! Since tumblr is being a jerk and not letting me link it right now, this oneshot was inspired by chapter four of her amazing and magnificent and well-written and feelsy story! This oneshot is an AU (in a way) of her AU, which is spectacular, and you all better go read it and tell her lunar sent you! Also, this story, albeit AU, contains some slight spoilers for her story but nothing serious; it’s really amazing!

Includes hints of Korrlok since I’m apparently such a rabid shipper I can’t resist having hints of it in my Tarrlok fics - but tis very subtle. Summary: Modern-Day AU with most canon events remaining the same but I’ve bloodbent canon as I’ve wished for this. Korra makes her feelings about Tarrlok clear in an online chat room. Is a bit crack-ficcy, same as the “Predator” prompt, and there is shameless ship-teasing in here of other ships beyond just Korrlok. Enjoy the hilarity whilst it lasts! (Because I can’t promise that my other fics will be THIS happy and lighthearted. Actually I won’t promise. Just a warning.
